Shared responsibility
Shared responsibility grows from our awareness that our lives are intertwined with the lives of others. Our actions do not take place in a vacuum. They are made possible by work, resources, knowledge and living systems we rely on, and their effects reach other places, other people and future generations.
Home makes these connections tangible. What we buy, use, preserve, discard, grow and share shapes more than our own everyday lives. Through small daily decisions, we participate in larger systems of consumption, production, care and community.
For HomeBeing, responsibility means seeing these connections and discovering where we have real room to make a difference. It does not demand perfection or guilt. What if home could become a place where we practise caring for a world we share with others?
