Home as a place to experiment

A quiet open house with a chair, daylight and green plants.

We shape our homes.
Our homes shape our days.

FROM IDEAS TO EVERYDAY LIFE

Home as a place
to experiment

We shape our homes. They also help shape our days.

A table can invite people to gather. A chair by a window can give rest a place. Things within reach can make it easier to create, repair or play.

At home, many of life's biggest questions meet in small, everyday actions. What do we need? What do we make room for? What do we preserve? How do we want to spend our time and resources? What values are reflected in our immediate surroundings?

Here we can try out ideas about care, sufficiency, creativity and time together, to name a few. What we learn can then travel with us into our neighbourhoods, our work and our communities.
